We are delighted to welcome you to the Fit and Fed programme that is funded by Kent Sport, Streetgames and Big Lottery Fund. The programme is run by Changing Minds CIC, The Kitchen CT9 and Active Community Solutions CIC.

The aim of the programme is to help support families with their physical and mental well-being. This is done through providing a healthy food hamper, free sports equipment, free well-being advice and to also signpost to other areas that can help. Please see below for the variety of ways we hope to support local families.

FIT AND FED FACEBOOK GROUP

We have our own facebook group for people who have been referred to the programme and this is a private group.

We encourage every family to join the facebook group as this will be our way of communicating longer term over the next few months and we aim to create a community that can help support each other.

On the facebook page we will regularly post:

  • Healthy recipes that are simple and easy to make at home
  • Some fun physical activities that you can try at home
  • Wellbeing videos and advice
  • Information about upcoming events for people that are part of the fit and fed programme.

FREE LIFE COACHING & WELLBEING SUPPORT

We are very lucky to have Robyn, who is a certified life coach with 5 years of experience and who is currently training to be a counsellor on board as part of the programme.

Life is challenging. With the addition of the current pandemic, there have been extra pressures and things have been really different to what we know as normal. On top of daily struggles, there is the added uncertainty and anxiety of managing constant change, some of the changes we’ve had to make have been unsettling and tough.

Robyn’s work focuses on life coaching and counselling. Life coaching is focused on solutions and results. Counselling is geared towards coping with crisis, improving relationships, developing personal awareness and working with feelings, thoughts, perceptions as well as internal or external conflict.  Robyn is available every Monday from 10am to 12pm and you can book a free slot to chat with her by clicking here
