TSC’s coaching scholarship which was launched this year has shown its potential with our first coaching scholar passing his Level 1 coaching badge. Adam who is a coaching scholar on our Ursuline College programme recently attended his Level 1 course in Faversham which he passed first time. Adam is shown here with Head Coach Seb Tidey receiving his official coaches jacket.

Even better news is that Adam has been offered full time employment with TSC from July once he finishes his schooling and will become a full time member of staff with us, working in all of our programmes. Adam already has a great football knowledge and he will now be working with hundreds of players to help them improve. He has shown huge potential in his short time with us and we feel that he has a very exciting career ahead of him in coaching.

Our coaching scholarship was set up alongside our playing scholarship at the Ursuline College. Students will work alongside the TSC coaches as part of their schooling rather than training as a player, with their coaching badges funded for them. The aim is that they will leave school with 2 years experience as well as coaching badges to give them an opportunity to coach in the future. We have already received a number of applications from students to become coaching scholars next year and Adams appointment as a full time coach shows the potential of the programme.

We welcome Adam on board and look forward to helping him continue his development.
